Located in the heart of Cottingham and Middleton our Village Hall is a vibrant community hub run by a dedicated team of volunteers.
Whether you are interested in joining one of our regular groups, attending a special event or booking the space for a large private party, the hall is here for everyone to enjoy.
We are always open to new ideas - if you have a suggestion for a new session or a one off event we'd love to hear from you!

Main Hall Hire Charge - £9 per hour
Exclusive Use - £15 per hour
There will also be a £15 post event cleaning charge for the Main Hall or exclusive use

A refundable deposit of £100 is required for one off bookings

We offer a fully staffed bar for you function at the cost of £30 per hour plus cost of any booze you buy at the bar

If you want to bring your own booze we charge a very minimal one off fee of £25

The Village Social
We’re delighted to announce the re-launch of our much loved pop-up bar under a brand new name: The Village Social
Moving away from the idea of an occasional pop-up and towards something more regular and established, The Village Social will now open consistently throughout the year, creating a relaxed and welcoming space for families, friends and neighbours to come together.
Guided by our simple ethos - Drinks • Friends • Community, The Village Social is all about connection in a friendly, inclusive setting. From February, March, April, October and November, we’ll be open on the last Friday of each month, and during the warmer months of May, June, July, August and September, we’ll be opening every second week, giving everyone even more opportunities to connect and unwind.
Designed with community at its heart, The Village Social offers a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere where people can enjoy a drink. Children are welcome, and well-behaved dogs can join in too. We’re excited to see our village come together more often and make The Village Social a regular highlight in the community calendar.​​
